US Distributor of IASO Cloud Backup
Mimic Data is proud to announce it is now a US distributor of IASO Cloud Backup and has lowered pricing on most BackSync products.
The reason we have added IASO (pronounced “yazo”) to our line of online cloud backup, storage and cloud hosting products is IASO fills a gap between BackSync Archive and BackSync Backup. Click HERE to see a comparison of the three products.
IASO Backup offers many of the same features of BackSync Backup, such as VMware, MS SQL, MS Exchange, NAS, Oracle and other forms of backup, but adds features our Resellers have asked for that BackSync Backup does not currently offer. Therefore, we really think you will like IASO backup.

- Servers @ $0.50 p/GB
- Storage Node $0.30 p/GB
- 50% Discount for Workstations, Education, Charity and Government
- Pricing is based on the amount of storage used after it has been deduplicated and compressed.
Key Features for Resellers and MSP's
- Deduplication and True-Delta versioning on the client before sending to the server. This reduces the amount of data being backed up by quite a lot, which in turns means lower costs.
- Brandable Software – Create your own brand
- Very fast backup with up to 10 simultaneous threads.
- Storage Nodes – Use your own storage on customer premise or in your own data center, or use Mimic Data or IASO storage nodes. It is your choice.
- Cloud Management Console software runs on your computer to manage and monitor backups. With the remote control option administrators can start the user interface of the remote client from the Management Console and have the same control as if you were logged on locally.

Lower Pricing on BackSync products
- BackSync Backup prices now range from $0.50 to $0.89 p/GB for compressed used storage and $0.30 to $0.53 p/GB uncompressed. As you can see, we have also added the option to pay for the uncompressed price, which may benefit some resellers.
- BackSync Archive has dropped 50% and now starts at $0.15 p/GB. When all you Archive customers add to more than 2TB of used space your price drops to $0.10 p/GB. You still get unlimited file transfers and seeding. Each customer account is still $10 per month, but we now include 10GB of storage with each account.

BackSync Backup 4.3 will be out soon. It will include the addition of AES Encryption, Direct Streaming of Disk Image backups, Pervasive SQL Backup and more. Release notes can be found HERE.
